Hand held and cart moounted devicesThe Cart Companion application helps customers save money and more efficiently use their time in the store. With functionality that can include targeted marketing at the point of decision, self-scan in the aisle, specialty department ordering from the cart, and personalized location-based coupons, the Cart Companion application is designed to increase customer loyalty and basket size, and reduce your costs.

The application can be deployed via a cart-mounted table manufactured by IBM, or via a handheld device. As customers walk through the aisles, they get personalized marketing message based on their shopping history.

Since the system is location-based, the information is delivered to the customers at the time and location that they are ready to make a decision. By offering shoppers personalized location-relevant offers, retailers benefit from increased basket size.

The Cart Companion application also offers retailers a real-time solution to viewing store traffic, flow, and congestion. The Cart Companion technology, along with Cuesol's DeliVision and ShopWatch systems, enables store personnel to monitor and alleviate delays in deli and the front end.
